These Are The Designers on The Reboot of Trading Spaces — And Some Of Them Are Familiar Faces!

Exciting news! Just this morning, TLC has announced the designers who will join the reboot of their popular makeover show, Trading Spaces. The best news of all? Some of them are familiar faces.

We collectively jumped for joy when the network announced back in March that they’re bringing back the makeover show that started it all, and then again when longtime host Paige Davis joined the reboot back in July. Now, we have the all important deets on which designers will be helping neighbors makeover each other’s homes.

So, who’s back for another ride on the Trading Spaces train? None other than Doug Wilson, Carter Oosterhouse, Genevieve Gorder, Laurie Smith, Ty Pennington, Vern Yip, and Hildi Santo-Tomas. We are full on, hay glued to the walls freaking out right now!

We spotted the TLC announcement on Gorder’s Instagram this morning, where she says, “Well here we go….Surprise surprise.”

Just take a moment to let this all sink in. But there’s more: the seven returning designers will be joined by some new to Trading Spaces faces, but whom you might already know: design experts and carpenters Brett Tutor, Joanie Sprague, John Gidding, Kahi Lee, and Sabrina Soto will be on the show this season. As TLC said, “with 30 years of experience between them, these fresh faces are up for the challenge!” We’re excited to see them flex their design muscles, for sure. TLC has full bios for each of the designers, new and returning, on the announcement page.

The show is slated to begin airing new episodes next year. Who are you most excited to see? Tell us in the comments.
