Shake ‘n’ Bake In Ricky Bobby’s Manse From Talladega Nights

Will Ferrell portrayed fictional NASCAR star Ricky Bobby in the 2006 comedy Talladega Nights. This sprawling mansion—where he lived with his wife and two sons, Walker and Texas Ranger—happens to be on the market for $4.2 million.

The film was actually shot in the house and not on a soundstage, so it’s definitely recognizable. The property is located in a gated community on 1.3 acres 30 miles north of Charlotte, North Carolina, which Southern Living notes is a popular area for actual NASCAR drivers since most teams are based in the city.

The house itself has 9,802 square feet, five bedrooms, six full bathrooms and three partial bathrooms. Built in 2002, it has a “gracious flow throughout with an open layout for entertaining and spectacular lake views,” according to the listing.

The living room has double height ceilings and a grand stone fireplace, which you’ll recognize from the scene where Ricky Bobby says grace to Baby Jesus. Outside, there’s a resort style pool, a covered lanai with a fireplace and dining area, a “sport court”, private beach, and two piers (plus an outdoor kitchen and TV, of course).

The property is listed with Ivester Jackson Distinctive Prosperities and Christie’s International Real Estate for $4.2 million.
