Keith Richards’ Rockin Pad Hits The Market for $12 Million

Gimme shelter: Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has relisted his Greenwich Village duplex for $11.995 million.

According to Mansion Global, the rocker and his wife, Patti Hansen, bought the co-op for $10.5 million in 2014, and had originally listed it in 2016 for $12.23 million.

The three bedroom, four bathroom unit is in a full service, pre war co-op built in 1929 on Fifth Avenue and 8th Street that was once a luxury hotel. Fully renovated in 2011, the property features a 47 foot long living, dining and entertainment space with views of Greenwich Village, Washington Square Park, and the Manhattan skyline.

Because even the rich and famous love a hack, the listing boasts:

At the other end is a home office or flexible fourth guest bedroom with a en-suite bathroom that can be fully separated from the rest of the floor by a large sliding wall that is completed concealed when not utilized. It is in this manner that every square foot of the apartment has been thoughtfully utilized to amplify storage and function.

The master bedroom has two walk in closets “completely outfitted to showcase fashionable garments” and a spa bathroom with a steam shower and soaking tub. The other two upstairs bedrooms are also en suite.

If you wanted to paint it black, well, Richards already gave you a head start: the kids room has an inky accent wall with the phrase, “You’re never too young to rock & roll” emblazoned on it.

The property is listed with Douglas Elliman for $11.995 million.
