“OOO” means “out of office,” and if you didn’t know that, it’s definitely time for you to learn. I mean, self care and face masks go hand-in-hand these days, yeah? Pop thee into the nearest CVS or Target and snatch up a few $2 face masks or bath bombs or whatever beauty buy delights your senses. Light your favorite scented candle and turn your bathroom or living room or bedroom or balcony into the hottest yet most affordable spa in the city.
Let Room Service Handle the Meals
Room service, in this case, is Postmates or Uber Eats or Seamless or whatever app you usually trust to bring takeout right to your door. Or if cooking relaxes you, plan a meal of your own. Skip the hurried grocery store trip and treat yourself to mail-order groceries. We tried five different ones and Peapod gets our vote.
Take a Souvenir With You
What’s a vacation without a souvenir? To add the cherry on top of a perfect staycation, give yourself permission to buy a little motivating trinket to remind you that you can be confident and in-control, all you need is a little “me time.”
