A Chicago Condo is a Cozy “Little House in the Sky” — House Call
Jenna and her husband Mike moved into their Chicago condo right after their wedding. “We fell in love with it the minute we walked in because of the soaring ceilings, natural light, and open feel. We call it our little house in the sky and designed it to feel like a home. Our goal was to make it warm, comfortable, and welcoming. We did this by adding light through a chandelier and pendants, mixing vibrant patterns with neutral colors, and incorporating soft fabrics from our bedding to our curtains.”

Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: Vibrant, comfortable, and light modern loft
Any advice for creating a home you love? Start with neutral pieces that you love and are comfortable. From there you can layer in colors, patterns, and details that add personality and texture. Pick art that is personal to you. The painting over our bed is one that we purchased on our honeymoon when we were in Bangkok; the painting over our sofa is actually a photo I took in Croatia that I turned into a watercolor with an app called Waterlogue and then had it printed on canvas and framed.
If you could magically change something about your home, what would it be? We wish our loft was even bigger!
What is your favorite room and why? Our favorite room is our “zen loft” which opens to our roof terrace. The loft is designed for maximum comfort and relaxation. it is surrounded by windows – it feels like a jewel box. We used the roof terrace it opens to for entertaining and long naps in the hammock.
Thanks, Jenna !
