Amazon Will Now Pop-Up In a Whole Foods Parking Lot Near You
Normally news of a van hanging out in a parking lot would be concerning, but in this particular case it’s cause for celebration. Amazon announced today that their Treasure Truck will park its big beautiful self in Whole Foods parking lots across the country.
A natural step in the Whole Foods/Amazon marriage, bringing the Treasure Truck program to the grocery store parking lots is kind of genius. The Treasure Truck program has been running for a while, and is basically a daily deal service. Amazon describes the program as one that “handpicks new, trending, local, or delicious items, loads them on the truck, and cruises around town spreading joy for everyone with a smartphone and an appetite for fun.”
Customers sign up for daily alerts or follow #WhatsOnTheTruck to find out what deals are going down on a truck near them and if they’re interested purchase it through the Amazon app, and can then find out where the nearest truck is to pick up IRL.
Today’s deal helps you hop onto the Instant Pot bandwagon, along with $10 off $40 coupon to Whole Foods and a recipe guide. It’ll be interesting to see if all the deals come with a Whole Foods tie in or remain somewhat food related.
