Congratulations are in order to one of our favorite design couples. Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent announced today that their family of three will soon be four.
The pair, who posted a video to Instagram that looked like it was footage for a promo for their TLC design show, Nate & Jeremiah By Design, turned out to be a baby announcement. “Well, the cat is out of the bag…and we couldn’t be happier,” Nate captioned the video, which features the couple’s daughter, Poppy, arriving in frame with a bunch of blue balloons.
Jeremiah also shared the video, and captioned it:
Here it is… Us at our best. We are humbled, ecstatic, thankful and so grateful to share that Poppy will be expecting a baby brother come spring. @NateBerkus and I are excited to be bringing you along on this journey. Our family is about to be that much more complete. Love is love is love. #BabyNumber2
The family (and their dreamy Hancock Park home) was featured in a recent issue of Architectural Digest. In it, they talk about why they bought the 9,000 square foot house, despite it seeming too big: “We pictured Poppy, and eventually the rest of our family, playing under [the 200-year-old oak] tree, and we thought this was a place we could put down roots,” Jeremiah told AD.
Looks like the rest of the family starts arriving in the spring. Congrats to Nate, Jeremiah, and Poppy!
