Khloe Kardashian Registered For a $10,000 Crib And We Have Questions
Leave it to the Kardashians to turn a baby shower into a star-studded fete with enough ritzy gifts to fill a truck. And that’s just what the family did over the weekend to honor the last currently pregnant Kardashian, Khloe, for the impending arrival of her baby girl with boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
Word is Khloe registered at Couture Kids on Robertson, a super-chic (and super expensive) children’s boutique in West Hollywood where inventory includes necessary child-rearing items like $6,000 children’s Balmain jackets. Well, the folks over at TMZ.com did some digging and discovered that Khloe registered at the store for over $90,000 worth of baby goodies. Here’s a look at a few of the items on her list:
There’s the Givenchy Kids Black Leather Jacket, with a price tag of $1,450, and the Young Versace Baby Changing Bag, worth $600. Additional designer duds include the $365 Young Versace Circle Medusa Baby Blanket and matching Young Versace Pom Pom Medusa Mary Janes for $235. Oh, and not to mention the $10,000 crib, which for that price better feed, burp and change the baby itself.
Now, there’s no $10K crib listed on the store’s website, but there is a wavy, 3D printed Gradient crib for $7,500, or the celeb favorite Vetro acrylic crib for $4,500 (Blue Ivy had one!), which seems almost reasonable in comparison.
In traditional Kardashian style, it looks like part of the shower was a sponsored event for #AmazonBabyRegistry, because if there’s one thing that family knows how to do, it’s monetize.
“Had the most unbelievable baby shower — we felt so much love! #ad So grateful to be surrounded by a beautiful support system,” Khloe wrote on Instagram. “And special thank you to @Amazon for helping me bring it all together! More pictures to come! #AllOnAmazon #AmazonBabyRegistry.”
There, indeed, were more pictures to come:
According to Page Six, guests for the big event included everyone from the Kardashian’s grandma and Bravo-lebrities Kim Zolciak and Brielle Biermann to Maria Menounos and hair guru Jen Atkin. And of course, all the Kardashian/Jenner sisters and family matriarch Kris Jenner were present to fete their beloved sister.
