Faux Real: Urban Outfitters Is Having a Fake Flower Pop Up

Spring has sprung, New Yorkers: Urban Outfitters is hosting a pop up flower market—but with a twist. You won’t need a green thumb to keep these blooms alive.

The pop up celebrates this week’s Vernal Equinox, and will keep even those allergic to pollen in stylish stems—without having to toss them in a week.

The faux flower collection includes 20 varieties in all, from exotic blooms like Heliconia to tropical plant leaves such as Monstera.

The temporary storefront is located at 232 Elizabeth Street in Nolita and will display and sell the full assortment of stems plus other grow-themed UO Home products. Store hours will run from 6 PM to 10 PM on Friday, March 23 and 12 PM to 6 PM on Saturday, March 24. Floral bouquets will also be made on-site.
